Notes: Code 9 CPR is a proud provider of the American Red Cross Babysitter's Training and Pediatric First Aid/CPR Course. This course is taught by a retired police officer, coach and mother. Babysitter's Training and Pediatric First Aid/CPR provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and other safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care. The recommended age for this cource is 11 - 15 years old. This course prepares participants for babysitting work by practicing hands-on skills with manikins and learning skills in scenarios. The skills cover first-aid, diaper changing, feeding infants and children, rescue breathing, emergency procedures, safety, and includes First Aid and Pediatric CPR. Marketing and best babysitting business practices are also covered in the course material. Upon successfully completing this course, participants will receive a certification in Babysitting, Pediatric CPR / AED, and First-Aid
